Lake Minear Beach offers a Learn to Swim Program for our members. Our lessons are individual private lessons. They are two-week sessions (ten days, Monday through Friday) and each lesson is 30 minutes in length. The cost is $125.00. There are 2 sessions to choose from. The first session begins Monday, June 20. There will be one week after each session to schedule any missed lessons. The second session begins Monday, July 11. There will be no refunds due to missed lessons!
If you are interested in signing a child up for swim lessons, please complete the application below with the time and session that would work best for you. Lessons are given between the times of 10:00-12:00am and 5:00-7:00pm. Many of our guards will be teaching lessons. Swim lessons will not be assigned unless this application completed! All applications must be submitted by May 22.
Lessons will be assigned to instructors as they are received. The instructor will then contact you to set up your first lesson time. If you have any questions about your lessons or scheduling, you can call your teacher or the Manager at the Beach (847) 367-1559, 10:00am to 8:00pm once the season starts) or call the hot line at (847) 680-8897.
Special considerations for signing up
*Children taking lessons must be at least 6 years old.
*Children from the same family must be taught in back-to-back lessons by the same teacher.
Lessons are on a first come basis. If you sign up and no spot is available, you will be reimbursed.
